National Aviation Security Training Program Workshop

This five-day interactive workshop is designed to familiarize participants with the requirements of a National Civil Aviation Security Program (NCASP) and enable them to draft and review such a program.

Who Should Attend

It is recommended that nominees be at the senior or middle management level within the State’s appropriate authority who are responsible for the control, drafting, review, updating and/or implementation of NCASP.

To follow this Workshop, it is strongly advised that the candidate has acquired the regulatory knowledge contained in the basic training.

Course Objectives

• Familiarize participants with the requirements of a National Civil Aviation Security Program (NCASP) and enable them to draft and review such a Program
• Determine the appropriate methodology required to develop a National Civil Aviation Security Program and the processes to ensure its maintenance, updates and revisions
• Develop and draft a National Civil Aviation Security Program

• Regulatory Requirements
• Supervisory missions of the competent authority
• Development of procedures and guidelines
• Development of the quality assurance Program
• Subcontractor supervision procedures
• TP for the establishment of a security Program

Notes

The workshop requires students to successfully pass a mastery examination based on ICAO Annex 17, the Security Manual for Safeguarding Civil Aviation Against Acts of  Unlawful Interference (Doc 8973 Restricted) and materials presented during the course.

As this is a “Pass/Fail” course, students must successfully pass the mastery examination in order to receive a certificate of completion. All others shall receive a Certificate of Attendance
