This course was designed to train the base or entry-level airport security personnel to implement, monitor and implement preventive airport security measures in accordance with approved local programs.
This course should be followed by at least six months of practical experience and work in airport security under the supervision of a qualified supervisor in this area.
Courses are instructed by ICAO certified Instructors and ICAO Experts
Trainees will enjoy daily transportation from/to EGYPTAIR Training Academy (Heliopolis and Naser City Area)
Trainees will enjoy daily lunch and two daily breaks with drinks and snacks
Tourism trips can be organized in weekends for trainees upon request with reasonable fees.

Course Objectives
This programme include the following objective :
Work in and move about an airport safely.
Communicate and cooperate with other airport agencies.
Control the movement of people and vehicles by means of access control techniques and systems.
Guard and patrol airport vulnerable areas, facilities and aircraft.
Recognize weapons and explosive/incendiary devices.
Inspect/screen/search passengers and baggage.
Respond to airport emergency situations.
Escort people and consignments.

Target Audience
New staff and current staff at the basic level of the authority or anybody primarily responsible for the application of aviation security measures at airports, as well as those of other aviation support bodies.
Pre-requisites
Candidates for this course should meet the following requirements:
Successful completion of secondary school or equivalent.
Have written and oral command of the language of instruction.
Be engaged within organizations having AVSEC roles.Have written and oral command of the language of instruction.

A certificate is awarded upon successful completion of the course and passing the final examination
