By the end of this course the trainees should be able to:

  • Dangerous goods list Arrangement

Module 5 – Marking & Labelling

  • Package markings
  • Labelling

Module 6 – Storage and loading

  • Storage and loading Procedures
  • General provisions concerning radioactive material

Module 7 - Provision of information

  • Provision of information

Module 8 - Emergency response procedures

  • Emergency response procedures
  • Reporting of dangerous goods accidents, incidents and other occurrences
  • Inspection and decontamination
     

Target Audience

  • Flight Crew

Pre-requisites

  • Good Command of English Language
  • Successfully Completed Dangerous Goods Regulations with no more than 24 month

Evaluation Mean(s)

Final Assessment (theoretical/practical)

  • Quizzes and task observation
  •  Assessment

               Simulation including documentation

             Job shadowing for 2 weeks with peer reports. A list of tasks to be carried out with a checklist to verify that the tasks have been carried out satisfactorily

  •  Theoretical Examination at the end of the course.
