Embraer ERJ-170 series (GE CF34)/B1

This is an electrical/mechanical level III course. It includes all the training for this A/C type on all ATA chapters except the chapters 22, 23, 34,44, 46 and CDCCL which are presented at level II & Introduction Module and Zonal & Station Identification System presented at level I. All the Airframe and power plant systems, sub systems and components are described in detail, as well as the operational and functional tests and trouble shooting of all systems. It also includes the use of the operational documentation.

Applicants should be holding ICAO Or EASA B1 license. In case of ICAO license, applicants should hold basic complimentary course for A & P engineers.

Course Objectives

o To provide well balanced theoretical training for aircraft maintenance in the field
of Airframe & Power Plant with the aim of qualifying the trainees to perform the
duties, Responsibilities and privileges of an aircraft maintenance license category
B1 or equivalent.

Target Audience

Maintenance Certifying Technicians - Mechanical, who are holders of a basic license or equivalent and seek type qualification on the Embraer ERJ-170 aircraft.

Pre-requisites

o Maintenance Certifying Engineers must be familiar with turbine powered
transport aircraft and digital electronic equipment, and must have the
knowledge and experience required for maintaining turbine powered transport
aircraft.
o Holders of a basic license or equivalent and seek B1.1 type qualification on the
applicable aircraft type.
o Students should be able to read, write and communicate at an understandable
level in English language
• Required documents:
o Copy of national ID or Passport.
o Valid license (A full copy including expiry date and category (B1) or equivalent).
o For courses approved from both ECAA and EASA, If Both EASA and ECAA
certificates is required, Certificate or result for "Basic complementary course for
airframe and power plant engineers" is mandatory.

Evaluation Mean(s)

For Theoretical course : there is multi-choice examinations with a minimum pass mark of  75%
