This course aims to enable aviation security instructors to perform a competency-based and effective role in the delivery of their national aviation security (AVSEC) training activities, through the application of the relevant competencies and in accordance with Annex 17 - Aviation Security and the ICAO Aviation Security Manual (Doc 8973 – Restricted).
Courses are instructed by ICAO certified Instructors and ICAO Experts
Trainees will enjoy daily transportation from/to EGYPTAIR Training Academy (Heliopolis and Naser City Area)
Trainees will enjoy daily lunch and two daily breaks with drinks and snacks
Tourism trips can be organized in weekends for trainees upon request with reasonable fees.

Target Audience
Any personnel involved in the development, management and/or instruction of training materials related to a civil aviation security training programme, such as:
State's appropriate authority for aviation security involved in the instructional duties or implementation of training programmes;
Airport operators or aviation security services providers; and
Other government or industry elements directly involved in the implementation of security measures.
Pre-requisites
Participants should satisfy the following criteria:
Have written and oral command of the language of instruction;
Be currently assigned as an instructor or pending assignment as an instructor upon successful completion of this course; and
Have working knowledge of Annex 17 and the ICAO Aviation Security Manual (Doc 8973 -Restricted).
Certificate(s) Awarded
In order to receive a certificate of successful completion, participants will be required to pass an end of course exam based on Annex 17, the ICAO Aviation Security Manual (Doc 8973 - Restricted), and materials presented during the course.
