Refresher Course for Maintenance Engineers Airbus A318/A319/A320/A321 (CFM56 / IAE V2500) Airframe / Power Plant - Systems & Airframe (Part 1)

Course Objectives

To provide well balanced theoretical overview with the aim of qualifying the
aircraft maintenance engineers who successfully passed the related type training
course (same specialty) to perform the duties, responsibilities and privileges of
an aircraft maintenance license (same rating) and the period following the
accomplishment of that training without being authorized on that type
exceeding 3 years. The applicant has to pass the refresher course within the next
6 months (in compliance with ECARS 65 subpart C paragraph 65.47(B)).

Pre-requisites

Maintenance Engineers successfully passed that type course with the same
specialty Airframe & Power Plant (or Electric and/or Avionics) and the period
following the accomplishment of that training without being authorized on that
type exceeds 3 years, the applicant has to pass the refresher course within 6
months.
• Required documents:
o 1- Copy of national ID or Passport.
o 2- Valid license {a full copy including expiry date and LWTR category (Same
category as course requested)}.
And For not Authorized maintenance personnel
o 3- Theoretical Type maintenance course certificate or result (same category A&C
or XE and/or XA or equivalent)
o 4- The period from the end date of the type course not exceeded 3 years and six
months.
For Authorized maintenance personnel
o 3- Company approval or authorization with the requested aircraft type endorsed
on itand the type rating had lapsed for more than 2 years and less than or equal
5 years
